Türkiye’s unique location, straddling the continents of Europe and Asia at the ultimate crossroads of the world’s largest oil & gas deposits and consumption centers, offers an exclusive hub for the exchange of research, policy, practice, and ideas to address the profound impacts of turbulent times on global energy economics and climate change.

This year’s event, the Symposium and 5th Eurasian Energy & Sustainability Conference, will feature focused sessions on key current issues at the intersection of energy markets, geopolitical uncertainties, economic resilience, and accelerated climate action. Internationally established speakers will lead lively discussions on navigating volatility in energy transitions, financing sustainable pathways amid economic turbulence, adapting to climate risks, and balancing affordability with decarbonization goals.

The event will take place at Ela Excellence Resort Hotel in Antalya. As part of the program, participants will visit the COP31 venue at Antalya Expo, and the conference’s closing session along with the awards ceremony will be held at the COP31 site.

With its rich social functions, the conference will provide a unique opportunity for networking and enhancing communication among energy and climate professionals from business, government, academia, and other circles worldwide.

The organizing committee—an experienced and enthusiastic team of outstanding prominent energy professionals from academia and the private sector in Türkiye—is determined to make this conference a professionally most enriching and socially most memorable event, building on our successful track record, including the IAEE events in Istanbul in 2008, Antalya in 2015, the 45th IAEE International Conference in Istanbul in 2024, and the recent IAEE MECA Conference in Antalya in 2025.

We look forward to welcoming you to Antalya in 2026 under the theme: “Impact of Turbulent Times on Energy Economics and Climate Change”.
